What's Louder? Muffler Delete vs. X-Pipe (delete Resonators) & Muffler?
Any opinions? Are our cats located close to the motor or further away? Thanks!
Brent

If you're asking what's louder, no mufflers vs. x-pipe with stock mufflers, no mufflers is way louder.

Were you able to hear both side by side? Or either one separately?
I know in theory it seems the resonators don't really muffle sound as much if you delete the mufflers. But I want to find out how much is too much.

Thanks for the link though - it was pretty ridiculously awesome!

If that's too loud for you I think you might be happy with just deleting the center muffler, not to mention the affordability of this upgrade. That thing weighs like 25 pounds too, so it will be nice to lose that weight

If that was too loud just delete the resonators. Deleting them makes the car a little bit louder than stock. Also, make sure that you have a H or X crossover pipe installed or the car will sound like two 4 cylinder engines instead of nice V8.

It's too loud because it was an x-pipe w/ no mufflers which is basically no resonators and no mufflers. I want to do just no mufflers and leave the stock reso's on.

Delete just the mufflers and you will like it. It is a LOT quieter and sounds a lot better.

Yeah, I am thinking this is the best route to go...Originally was planning to do x-pipe plus Magnaflows...but I am thinking this might be better.
