Woohoo - Finally got my Euro Mirror Glass and VPhreaks Battery!
Woohoo - Finally got my Euro Mirror Glass and VoltPhreaks Battery!
Been searching and waiting to get a hold of a driver side Euro Mirror with wide angle piece and finally got it...
Now onto the extremely lightweight 6.5lbs Voltphreaks battery!
My car has SS Headers and having this battery replace the OEM part somehow made me feel like the suspension is working better and has more balance and play when driving over bumps...

... im interested in the mirror....hows the difference now that you have it installed?
Haven't installed it yet but having the aspherical mirrors on my X5 as well and judging from it, I can say that it provides that extra wide angle coverage basically eliminating(very close) the blind spot.

Good luck on the battery. Most mini-batteries tend to live a short life. But as long as you drive the car everyday, I think you should be fine. My real concern would be if the battery has enough juice for all the powered items in the M5. Please report back.

I'm not the first one with this and so far so good... No issues and has more than enough juice to power the beast. One advantage I see is that when turning on extra electircal items on the car, I don't see much of a drop in voltage from the battery looking at the OBC gauge compared to the old style OEM battery.
And don't know if you've followed the Weight savings thread for the M5 but this battery had already been tested by fellow M5Board members and they have been satisfied. To top all that, it comes with a 5 year warranty, so from my perspective I can't ask for anything more...

But it totally throws off the weigh distrobution! J/k, looks like a good mod, I wish I could afford it.
Well I guess there is no spell check, so I'm sure I spelled distrob.... wrong

I have driven a car with the Euro Glass and can say its great not having to move your head as much to check the blind spot. It was a little weird at first but the benefit is almost instant, i love those kinds of mods! Congrats on the battery also, that thing looks like it weighs a fraction of the stock.
