        How much does a BMW M5 cost in your country?

        How much does a BMW M5 cost in your country? Taxes must be included, and no extra-options or transport fees should be included. I'll start:-)

        Finland:

        BMW M5 699000FIM -> ~105000USD

        I'm pretty sure that Finland is one of the most expensive countries in the world if you are thinking about purchasing a BMW M5

        BTW. No, I don't own an M5...yet

        Hey tt,

        I believe this topic was covered sometime back. The link to the thread is : http://www.bmwm5.com/vbulletin/showt...&threadid=9247

        And i believe an M5 in Singapore costs probably more than anywhere else in the world.

        It costs some S$450,000 here which amounts to US$250,000. And thats probably without any options.

        Regards,
        Verne

        I'm not exactly an active member here either due to work constraints. And i don't have an M5. But my dad does have a 728i.

        Still, reading about the fun times the board members have with their cars is thoroughly enjoyable.

        Terve TT !!

        I think your information is wrong. When I shopped around Europe I found Finland to be second cheapest (only Begium cost less). I suggest you contact BMW Tapiola in Espoo and should give you a good deal.

        Ashok,

        The only reason you found Finland one of the cheapest was that you paid the cost of the car less Finnish tax then paid UK tax. The base car in the Nordics costs a lot less than the UK because their taxes are so high BMW lower the cost of the car. As UK tax is one of the lowest in Europe BMW raise the cost of the car and so if you import the car from the continent it will nearly always be cheaper than buying in the UK.

        I think I understand it but not sure I have explained it very well.

        Here in Canada, a 2000 M5 costed $102 000CAN and for 2001/2002, it costs $104 000CAN. I think that those are really good prices compared to the USA models.
