Thanks everyone, still a bit shocked, Alex sorry i missed you would of been great to meet you.
Sam: i drive through windsor every now and again, we walk the dog up there. I am glad you liked it!!, Still not decided on what to do for a career but it will come to me.
Started giving the car a service today, hopefully combined with the MAF's it will be back to it's old self again.

scheisse!

I was there too, saw your car from a distance, but didn't really had the time to take a closer look which is a shame!

Nice work though

That is GREAT news! Of course you should win, the car is spectacular and one of a kind. One in German,y, one in USA and now yours.

Maybe I should pay you a visit someday!

Steve,

how's the suspension? Does the car handle like a ''real'' E39 M5?

Just read this tread again and if I'm nog mistaking you have got an M5 subframe + sport air supsension + yellow koni at the back?

Thanks,
Tim

hey steve,

glad your health is better. i see you've had minor lapses in board attendance, better than my 1.5 yr hiatus! looks like different circumstances, wrapping up prior businesses, and we're both in the same boat of considering our careers... just finally had a chance to read up on my favorite threads, and needless to say, yours is on the very top. all i can say is 'absolutely awesome.' there are wannabe m5 tourings (like mine), awesome ones, like the recent one about hartgem5's - but somehow nothing compares to an absolute labor of love like yours. winning that award was well-deserved, to say the least. love those pics. hope all the power is back, too. i think what makes your tourer amazing is, much as i like silver, it's a great color. all the best, and i'll be around.
