Will 10mm spacers work?

I am getting ready to track the beast on Saturday so I ordered 5mm spacers to put stock rears up front. The box arrived today, but it says 10mm on the ends. It looks like the longer bolts I ordered will still work, but will the extra width cause the tires to rub? Anyone running 10mm spacers out there? The new PS2s (mercedes) just came tonight, but are not mounted yet so I can't just try the spacers.

Mike

I'm thinking that you need to measure the spacers to be sure what you have - i don't know which ones you bought, but for instance H&R's catalog shows the "axle" measure for the spacers - "10 mm spacers" in their marketing literature means "5 mm on the right and 5 mm on the left for a total of 10 mm".

5 mm is 0.20 inches - just a hair less than 1/4 inch. Check them - you might have the ones you wanted.

little OT: I am thinking about using 10mm spacers in the front also...would these work with 19's on stock suspension?

Thanks for the tip. You are completely right although I must say that the labelilng on the box is very confusing. I will install them today.
