Fuel Pump Question (Walbro 255)

So I have a left over Walbro 255LPH Universal fuel pump that I was going to use in my tubro E36. Well since that car got smashed, it's useless to me now. However, I was looking through my maintenance history and discovered that my car never had a fuel pump replacement and I remember reading they tend to go out around 100k. Well I'm at 109k now, car is running great, but I'm curious if this fuel pump would work in my beast? Thanks for any input...
