Power Steering Lock-up

Recently tracked my M5 and experienced power steering lock-up which was probably due to excessive under hood temps. Fluid was leaking/spraying out of the reservoir. My dealer (Brecht BMW -Escondido, CA.) replaced everything but the reservoir (even though I'm off warranty...nice guys). Haven't had a chance to retest at the track, but it still seems to be leaking (and smelling). Has anyone had a similar experience? I'm thinking of installing a pulley kit which should help reduce the stress on the power steering pump. Rogue or Evosport?...opinions welcomed.
