Anyone installed a Lidatek?

I'd like to install a Lidatek in my '97 540i/6 and I'd like to know how difficult the installation is. Anyone installed one before?

Had mine fitted by the dealer but I hope this gives you some idea:

I suggest you don't attempt to do it yourself if you are not confident. Either get an experienced BMW specialist/dealer to do it or someone (e.g. car alarm specialists) who have done these before.

It's probably worth spending some money for that piece of mind.
