2000 M5 alcantera headliner in 2003 540i-M... fitment problem????

I aquired a alcantera headliner from a 2000 M5 to retrofit into my 2003 540i-msport.. however ran into a problem due to the head airbag system.... was this an added on option, or was it on all 2001+ E39's? I have a friend who would be interested in buying it off of me for his '99 528 sport but is worried about the fitment and doesnt know if he has the same head airbag system.

any input on this subject would be nice considering i dont think theres EVER been a thread about it ANNNYYWHEREE

thanks

Manny, any chance you're still looking to sell the headliner?
If not...can you at least tell me how you were able to find one w/o going to the Dealer

i managed to get the headliner that fit my car guys, so it is not for sale anymore, sorry! a local friend already has dibs on my old black headliner as well...
FYI, the dealer will charge somewhere between $1500-$2000 for the M5 alcantera headliner set.. i found mine by pure luck on ebay for $350 and had the dealer swap it for the parts that fit mine at no cost (it's a Manny G. perk )
