buy parts from Germany

going to be in Ettlingen Germany in a couple weeks and was thinking that maybe I could pick up some parts, like a leather opening armrest and bring it back in my suitcase. Does anybody know if there are bmw dealers, recycle center, ect in that area, and does customs hassle you for bringing parts back?

I would google it with city name and BMW;

Ettlingen Germany bmw - Google Maps

- - no doubt there are numerous dealers in the area, however you would have to contact them in advance, ensure someone there understands you (english) order the parts in advance so they are there when you arrive for pickup - - and then potentially have to pay duty on them when you re-enter the US... - - I'm assuming all that of course...
