E34 M5 Steering Box on Ebay

Hi All,

First of all, Apologies if this thread is deemed inappropriate, it's just that you never ever see these things for sale, and it might might be of use to a member of this forums.

There is a used E34 M5 Steering Box on Ebay Australia at the moment:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=320135821130

It's from a car with 137,000kms on it. I know nothing about that car, or the seller, and have no affiliation etc, but I have never seen one of these for sale in the past. Hopefully this helps someone here.

John

Thanks, Robbo.
After an aborted attempt, I got the box. Funnily enough, it is the one I had heard about when I sold the old mags off my wife's E36. The guy is breaking what is left of an M5 after a fire (in the interior, I think).
Anyway, now I will ensure that this is adjusted properly and put it in to replace my older one (137K vs 260K), then see if I can set up the old one properly as a spare.
Does anyone have special tools 321000 and 002000 hanging around? (page 790 of the PDF version of the manual that was posted here - thank you much!)
