Failed break in

Last week I parked all day at work in a fairly high traffic underground parking garage. I came back to the car at the end of the day to find my passenger window half way down. I had double locked the doors to they were unable to reach in and pull the lock or open the door. I guess this was as far as they wanted to go so as not to look suspicious. This is the second time my window has been pushed down in an attempt to gain access. (First time i wasn't double locked.) I'm thankful that there was no damage and the window still works perfectly but why is it so easy to just push down??
