Engine and Power steering out after bump

On our way home last night, we hit a bump in the road, and the power steering and engine shut down. It seems like the engine is fine, but not getting any fuel. I don't know why the power steering is out.

Car is dead at the moment. With our vacation coming up, I don't know if it can be repaired in time. Could it be messed up wiring near the sub frame, as described in this thread?

Engine shutting down while driving...

This is keeping me from sleep. Any help would be appreciated.

Was the "BUMP" you hit on the same side of the vehicle that the DME compartment is stored ?

I would disconnect the battery for more than 30 mins.
Re connect & see if you get key on & stable idle.
PAS & all other engine turning assisted sytems will work if this is so.

Otherwise....
Get fault code read out as a priority.
Then move to checking fuses & plugs plus connectors on DME etc.
Check main earth points also.
