Wheel Fitment? - The Unofficial BMW M5 Messageboard (m5board.com)

I'm looking at a couple different sets of wheels and wanted to make sure they will fit.

The first set are AC Schnitzer type 2 (one piece although I really want 3 some day). They are 18x8.5 et15 and are off a 7 series (e38 I believe).

The second set are staggered M Systems of an 8 series so they are a different offset (et10 and 15 maybe?)

I don't think I will have any problems with either set of wheels but I thought I would double check. I'm also curious as to where I can get hub centric rings for the AC Schnitzer wheels.

Any input would be appreciated.

Oh, and on a side note, I got my euro ellipsoids in from Germany today and got them almost completely hooked up with HID's. All I need now is new fog lights and connectors for the city lights!!! Pictures to come...

The hubcentric rings can be provided by practically any rim shop.

There are different qualities

I use a 10mm spacer on the front, but mine are E34 offset strangely so I only do it to get the right clearance from the shocks ( they showed minor rubbing on the front struts after the Ring)

ET10 offset will look a bit odd on the front of an e34 IMO, and could possibly touch wing at full lock.

Wout: What offset are yours? My friend actually came to me with the wheels knowing I am trying to go all Schnitzer. I wasn't particularly fond of them as I really wanted the 3 piece versions, but after seeing your car I had a change of heart.

illjah: I'm sorry but my English is a little different from yours. What wing are you referring to? Would a 10 be flush or would it stick out past the wheel well a little?

ET10 would make the wheel stick out too far, prob just still be ok.
i was referring to the wheel arch / wing / body panel

Thank you for clarifying. If I get these ACS wheels I will probably hold off on the staggered set. They are currently mounted on an e28 and didn't look bad.
