Handy hints like the mileage helps.
A few pics on a free website provider would also help you sell it.
PS. Hope you get what you are asking, because $20,900 is £14000 UK.
In England, you would not get a 3.6 1991, you would get an absolutely mint condition 3.8 with the nurburgring suspension with probably 40000-70000 miles and it would be a 1994-1995 car.
for example, this from UK autotrader today.
£15995, 1995 N BMW 5 Series M5 LIMITED EDITION , ROMANTIC RED, ABS, Air Bag, Air Conditioning, Alarm, Central Locking, Cruise Control, Electric Mirrors, Electric Windows, Full Service History, Leather, Passenger Airbag, Power Steering, Stereo. No 19 of only 50 built. Romantic Red??
Was that an official BMW M colour or is that an Individual option? How did the rest of the colour card read: Pretty Pink, Golly Green, Brilliant Black?
$20000 sounds a bit steep to me as well for a '91...
According to Kelly Blue Book, an american car value guide(www.kbb.com) the car is worth $15K. But keep in mind that these are guidelines and that rare cars don't compute very well....
But to give you an idea of american prices, in this months Roundel magazine, BMW Car Club of America, there is a 91 with 26000miles listed for $34000,- and one with 43K listed for $30000,- ....
Anyone wonder why I miss Europe??? (Except car prices in Norway (NoWAY))
Regards
Carl

I didn`t see that "romantic", I just cut`n`pasted from autotraders website.
Well at least in the good `ol US of A, rust isn`t exactly going to be a problem in most states.... california anyway.
If I remember right, an issue of either BMW Car or Total BMW in the UK this summer, there was a specialist dealer who had a E34 BiTurbo come up for sale with something like 4000 (four thousand) miles on the clock.
It went for huge money, as it was basically like new !! Something like £40000 ($58000).
It was probably the last chance to buy one ever, with that kind of minimal use.

The Romantic Red is in fact Rosso Red. It was a one off paint colour that only came on the UK M5 limited editions produced in 1995. Click below if you wish to see an example. Apologies for the large size JPEG's
Very nice colour! Goes quite well with the carmel/tan interiour in that car. Were all the limited editions this colour?

No there was another colour which was Orenoko Green which I can only describe as a dark / blackish green. These had two tone grey and green seats but it wasen't to my liking.
