My baby is at the dealer getting a new rad... just wondering, since I bought it about a year ago I have not had any major service on the car other than engine flush, oil change and air filter change.

I am wondering, since its at the dealer, should I have them do a valve adjustment, I read that they should be done periodically. What else should I have the dealer check or do while the car is there?

If you are happy to leave the car overnight ( the engine needs to be cold ) then I would certainly have the valve clearances checked and , if necessary , adjusted .

Obvious items such as all belts , hoses , control arms , bushes , brake discs , pads and fluid should all be inspected as a matter of routine .

The dealer could also run a diagnostic check for any other faults that may be present .
