Big Brakes

Hi folks

The time has come, and the money has been earned (made a few quid!!)

I was gonna sell both cars and buy summit else but, I like the M5 and I like the 540, so , gonna put big brakes on the M , at last .

Are the Movit brakes still the favourites or is it back to AP or Brembo or what ?

Not for track days or anything like that just fast road.... if you know what I mean ... within speed limits of course

And do you do front and rear or just front

Any suggestions, this money is eating my leg off so I need to blow it

Oh , and a good vendor in Uk or Ireland would be nice , not America..... please !!

steve

I'm saving up for a set of these personally.

http://www.uucmotorwerks.com/PBC/fitments_E34_5er.htm

They have a HUGE assortment of economical pad options, rotors are cheap to replace, and should be very well balanced on the car knowing Rob.

those look nice, but seam quite expensive. another guy makes kits for the E30 M3 using willwood components and his stuff doesn't cost almost 4k to put brakes on all 4 corners!

Kim Collins at QSM in Haywards Heath is a UK dealer for Mov'it kits and will give you as good a price as anybody and will fit front and rear sets too.

I would not recommend Wilwood for heavy cars.

But they sure seem extremely cheap for application on my Ascona!!

Thanks for the link Paul..Just that the shipping is a big markup
