Euro Headlight Question

Just had an original set of Hellas installed but I am not sure if they are wired to the correct switch position. During the Federalization process, the importers really hack-up the wires. Can someone explain which lights come on with the headligght at the mid position? Also, do the "smileys" have a separate bulb? I get the main beams ok, but not sure about the other bulbs.

at the mid position you will get the smileys and the rear lights.

the smileys have their own bulb at the top, a little 5W wedge type. looking at the back of the lights from the engine bay, at the top of each headlight there's a connector attached to a black shaft, the bulb is at the end of this shaft. turn it 90deg to remove it.

My car was also hacked up pretty bad in the lights. I have the Euro front head lights on my car now, and had to purchase the "city" light stalks that go in the top of the light from the back. I haven't had a chance to wire things back to original yet though.

This site was helpful in finding the part numbers:
