Timing Chain & bits for a 3.8

Hey, guys and gals!! I don't know if this has been talked about before or not if so sorry! I was wondering when mileage wise when does the timing chain need to be changed and I thought that I heard that there is a chain guard upgrade as well. Thanks for your insite in advance, I LOVE this board thanks Gustav!!

Chain is duplex.
There is no upgrade to this part.
Chains can go 200k miles plus dependant on the usual.
Tensioners & guides are the weak point as you cite.
S50 chain tensioner is sensible upgrade & very well publicised
by use of search facility.

Cheers
Farrell
