Brake light circuit warniing light

Hi

My M5 has developed a new problem. When I step on the brake I get a message on my display that says Brake light circuit see owners manual. All bulbs are fine. Has anyone else had this problem and where should I look ?

Thanks
Jack

Yes, I had this problem last month. I needed a new brake light switch. Less than Ģ20 but a bit of a pig to get to

be sure to check wiring harness at the trunk pivot point. This a common failre in cars of this age due to work hardening of the wires.
