Hi Guy's

My consumption is 13.6-14liter/100km. Mixture of highway and city, dayly driven 40km, outside temp 0-13 celsius.
Setup is e34 m5 3.8, getrag 280 and 3.23 diff. year1993, 185000km engine.
I know the "MPower world" is not a question of the consumption.
Anyhow I wanna know this consumption data. It is average or some other car eat less or more?

Other: on my board computer in a menü 20 the correction factor 953.
It is ok or I must use 1000?

Thats just over 20mpg in UK imperial measurement.
I dont see that as a major issue.
(Its not spending alot of time in 6th gear though..

)

So the 20 mpg is around 14 liter.

There is a button on the OBC that will change the consumption from l/100km to MPG.
The correction factor will need to be adjusted for your car specifically to get accurate consumption. I use 1087 to get the correct consumption for my 92 3.8 Touring.

what is 1087?

If i drive on the autobahn 150-180kph, i get around 13.8l/100km

sucks to fill the tank twice a week. there is a VW golf for sale for 600 euro, i think that might help out alot! 7L/100km is way way better!

It is the correction factor value I use to get accurate consumption figures for my car. It is item 20 in the unlocked OBC menu.

Ruppy - I get around 13.5-14.5l per 100km, thats not abnormal.

My all time average calculated the old fashion way (not obc) is 13.85 (L/100km). Best fill was 10.8 (L/100km) and worst was 18.1 (L/100km).

Mine's piss poor but all driving is city. For a while I started driving like grandma to increase my economy but soon found myself asking... "then what's the point of driving an M5?" My fuel economy has since returned to it's previous suckage.

15.8/100 average no matter what I do, but I pay for it with a smile (not as big as the pump guy's smile though)
