Will my tires fit?

Ok so a small kink in my plan. I currently have staggered Racying Dynamics wheels that are 17x 8.5" and 9.5". I have 2 sets of tires for these. Both are 235/45/17 and 255/40/17. I will soon have staggered T-stars that are 8" and 9". Will my tires fit these or are they too wide? I had thought for some reason that my RDs were 8" and 9". until I actually had a look last night.

nix - as confirmed by Wout - they will fit. Those tyres are standard size for M5's fitted with the staggered rim set-up.

Thanks Farrel, I figured as much. Damn I almost had it all worked out. Was going to straight swap my silver stars for some of the darker grey ones. Then I was going to trade my 8's for some 9's plus some cash. I would have had two sets of wheels with which to swap tires on. Oh well, I just have to find a couple 9's and get the whole lot painted instead. I think the darker stars will look good on the silver 5 once I'm done though.

My car had 255/40 P6000 on 8" all round when I bought it. Steering feel nonexistant and rubbing at the rear.....
