yeah Tom what about that? Still seems awfully quiet on that part. Or did you blow you hard-earned cash on that sub
BTW, O/T, I couldn't do without my cruisecontrol...Was one of the -must haves- when I bought my car. A certain 540/6 still needs retrofitment aswell...
HoyleyBoyley,
How did you get on with retrofitting cruise control. did you bother trying? i want it for the long motorway journeys i make between Sotland and England.
I have managed to source all the main parts(motor, stalk, control unit, clutchswitch).
Does anyone have a picture of where the motor fits and the arrangment of the clutch switch in the footwell.
I know the motor goes beside the power steering fluid reservoir but picture would help.
Also i don't have the blue connector in the ecu compartment to fit the brains but hAve heard that someone found the connector in there passenger door, anone know anymore about this.
Thanks.
didnt bother in the end, i looked into it on a variety of forums and found that you need certain modules prefitted in the car at the factory. (blue unit under bonnet?)
it is do-able apparently though.
too much hassle for me without the blue control unit.
I retro fitted cruise with a kit purchased from a junkyard in California. Had to purchase a couple of bits in the UK but it was pretty simple to get fitted, well worth the 200GBP total cost and I love it.

Legacy,
The main problems i have are where to fit the control unit with the blue connector as i don't have the connector in the ECU bay, also what the set up is with the clutch switch in the footwell which i believe is required to disengage the cruise control if it is depressed.
Didi you have similar probems or shed any light on them.
Thanks
