What's in a name

16. VDS Racing Adventures
Class A6 (3800cc)
BMW M5 E34
drivers: Raphael van de Straten, Andre Carlier, Alain Fischer, Christian Deridder.
alas...no more info

Forget Dakar and the X5, what these guys are doing...that's a real racing adventure ....believing in an old beast like that...I'm a fan

Considering the names it must be a Belgian team.....Stevie...considering your Belcar background.......you know any of these guys

Carlier ran the white/blue/yellow widebody E34 M5's in Belcar..

Van de Straten rings a bell too (VDS racing) , and IIRC Alain Fischer drove one of the M5's back then along with a guy called Nick Geels or Geelen .
Surely Stevie knows all about this
I've got some pics at home

BTW G-force racing ( remember my Spa visit) takes their new 997 GT3's to Dubai too...Funds were insufficient for LMS2, so they moved on to the GT's.

So, guess Spa will be on the calender for me afterall!

Birthday party

Good to see you'll be going to Spa this year, so you can attend my "birthday party" that I'll be having there

I'll see if I can post on the dailysportscar forum to get some more details on "my beloved" team

It's a 3.8 which means it's running in class A6 - the same as the GT3 Cups and RSR...

Qualified 45th out of field of 60 cars.
