Yes Tony.....It was stolen / recovered , no service history etc etc ....

Give him a call , see how much he waffles before coming clean !

Wasn't looking to buy it - just looked a bit suspicious being described as a 6-speed but having throwing stars.

Suppose that'd account for thw wrong wheels then - wasn't aware throwing stars fitted over the bigger brakes...........

The Nuremberg suspension probably doesn't help either.

Apparently the wheels were just some of the things stolen but never recovered !

What has happened with your search for a pimp mack daddy motaaaa ?

They fit fine - as I've proved when using a set without the covers for my track day wheels

Well the suspension does cause something of a Holocaust when it comes to replacing it (i.e. I want to kill all the dealers)!

The e23 I went to see in London was no good so I picked up a cheap XJ6 that'll do me for a couple of months - until I know whether my "on/off" project is confirmed either way.

It may be that I get something else after the XJ for the rest of 2007, but I'll eventually get back to an e34 M5 (don't care whether it's a 3.6 or 3.8).
