E34 M5board & E34M5.de combined meet 2007 28-04 to 01-05-07

Guys
Our first combined meeting with our German sister board was a resounding success.
Many of you have asked if we can repeat the event again this year.
I have been speaking with with some of the members from both boards for a few weeks regarding the possibility of bringing our two boards together in the coming months.
After discussions with Kons, who many of you know well, he has come back with a projected weekend as below.

"Hi Farrell,
best date for this would be around May 1st (as last year) as we have a german holyday there, and the weekend before the track will be all open. Compared to Easter it won't be that crowded so we'd prefer that date. For other dates the schedule of the N-Ring GmbH is not reliable enough yet....

Brgds
Konstantin"

I personally will be aiming to coordinate with the guys to meet this date.
Its up to you guys to work out how you want to play the trip.

Cheers
Farrell

Sounds interesting and if we can make the dates match why not. The drive would be fun and I am sure the M5.de guys and girls would make the weekend worthwhile.

Ze Germans are great..Would be fantastic to have a cross-board meeting, this was in the air for some time.

Last one was great, and it seems only more people will attain in 07..

Only thing is I still need my car sorted....Hopefully the new job situation will shove more cash, which will mean that I can start investing in pleasure rather than only paying off my real estate!

Wout

That is a shame as we can't make it then. We are scheduled to be at the NS at Easter and again in mid June, perhaps a follow meeting could be arranged for later in the year.

Dirk

You are one of Ze Germans..

I would feel bad going to the ring without the usual crowd, so Dennis and you are needed to complete the party!

I have a job this time round - so have no excuse. A coincidence - but today I bought a Swedish magazine (Sportbilen) with a good article on the Nurburgring, and the 25 quickest production class vehicles to run round the ring in....an interesting read, and got my juices going. Anyway I have mentioned I will be taking time off in the Spring to finally meet my fellow nutters. Cant wait.
