Intake Vacuum system - Samco upgrade? - The Unofficial BMW M5 Messageboard (m5board.com)

I'm about to take apart my intake system and change the vaccuum hoses.

Whilst looking over a recent E30 Turbo conversion I noticed lot of very nice Samco hose used.

The question I have is this - is it worth upgrading to Samco hosing in this area? Are there any drawbacks to doing so?

From realoem is says that the hose has a diameter of 3.3mm, is this internal or external?

If this is a good idea then once done you never have to worry about air leaks down there ever again.

Your thoughts?

Daimeter 3.3mm is internal.
Dont see an issue with replacing hoses with Samco items.
Its good quality equipment & it matches or betters o/e.

Yes Sal , I saw that Nick Odantzis from Total BMW magazine used the blue Samco hose kit on his E30 M3 and it looked the ticket ......

Finding 3.3mm internal diameter is proving a little hard - 3 or 4mm is the closest I could find. Surely changing the internal diameter is going to work the way the plenum works?
