Rapid Response

Ay ay, I'm not one for usually posting things like this but..............went shopping the other day and on leaving the sainburys car park to join the dual carriage way I had to stop at some traffic lights.Along side appeared a yellow Seat Leon Cupra R thingy hot hatch with 2,30 something blokes in it.As we glanced at each other with a twinkle in his eye!!!!! he took off and gained a small bonnets length advantage.....the kids in the back shouted go on dad so I pushed the loud pedal 7 tenths in 1st and 2nd and ended up a cars length ahead 150m later.......not bad when I was loaded with fuel, 2 kids the wife and a boot full of shoppin'. When he caught up at the next island smiling with raised eye brows the victory was confirmed...........get in there....back of the net and all that followed for a few minutes.......hot hatches dont ya just luv em.

Education can be a fun thing!

Not that any of us are condoning racing of any kind.......but there are some times when a little education is required and these hot hatch wippersnappers need to be taught a lesson or two.

PS done the same myself when I took some family friends out for a bite to eat when I got the car. An instance came up on the way home when two lanes mearged into one from a set of traffic lights. Funny enough another Seat if I remember rightly! (Must be in the blood). Well the lights changed and the Seat started and had to brake as suddenly there was a family estate in the way, in his gap never got to see the expression but my friends 10 year old some kept on asking do it again, do it again..........

Education can be an amusing thing sometimes

Hi
I took the m5 down a winding road and a little boy decided to chase me with his three friends trying in vain to pass in an escort rs. So i let him pass me on a straight and started to tail gate him so that i could force him to go a bit quicker. He duly obliged and i passed him on a 90 left bend that he decided he required brakes and not accelerater. His mates were obviously miffed at this old car passing him so he started to follow. I am still not the most skilfull of drivers but i decided to leave him for dead and as i forced her round a 90 right onto a long straight and watched through my rear view mirror as he did not come around the bend but went sideways into the ditch. I turned her round and went back to make sure they were alright. The escort was scrap but the lads were ok. didnt stop me from chuckling all the way home
