Wide grill on an early car and apparantly the EDC has been thrown away for Koni adjustable shocks.

seems a real mismatch to me . I dont like seeing m-pars on 93 cars and that badge on the rear tells me someone has owned the car whos not as bothered about it as us lot would be.If your not going to spend a couple of quid on the correct badging then wots the condition of the engine like!!Also, its way too cheap for a supposidly genuine car with only 116,000 on the clock, seems to me someones trying to get rid of a bag of $hit......but I could be sooooooo wrong

Doesnt look too bad IMHO except for the dodgy badge and the 540 front. I did think the car looked very low...Also has an 83mm Eisenmann as far as I can tell. I payed less than that for mine in the UK at similar mileage.

M5 T

Ok Guys firstly a quick intro,I'm Steve alias [Parksie]& have been waiting for the Mods to sanction my account on here for the last 6 days! i was hoping to ask many questions about this car prior to viewing but unfortunatly it didn't work out that way however, the car chassis number blo1500 if i remember correctly.

There are many anomalies which detract from this car as i discovered yesterday

I met the owner at the Garage where the car has just had a top end overhaul & Mot

They confirmed to me that

The Nurburgring suspension has been replaced by Koni's!

The car needs attention to the central locking, attention to paint/rust around windscreen/sunroof & a damn good clean in & out

Also ,now this really blew me away the owner states 116,000 miles in his advert however after reading through some of the history file i found last years Mot certificate showing 202,588 Km's about 125,000 miles & that was dated july 05 some 18months of driving need adding to the total so who knows alsothere is evidence of at least 2 engine rebuilds i recon this car will have done some where near 300,000Km's ,& i do agree the suspension is ridiculously low, the only good thing is that it was local to me so didn't waste to much time

Steve

Hey Steve. Wow sounds dodgy. The engine doesnt scare me as much as the rust though....shame....will cost a lot to put right. It doesnt sound like a car worth buying ..... IMHO

Did you drive it?

Mik

Good luck finding what you are looking for .....are you aware that Pacer Pete , a member of this forum , is selling his M5 Touring that appeared in the Jan issue of Total BMW Magazine ?!
