And an E34 M5 at full throttle at 2000 to 2500 sounds just like a Spitfire too

P51 Mustang is more M5. It has the Supermarine engine but stronger body and improved performance. Spitfire along with Concorde the most beautiful objects ever made by man to fly!

Nah, the M5 is more like a Messerschmitt Me 262.

Technologically superior, supremely good looking, faster than anything else at the time, yet as today, no-one was quite sure what it was when they saw one, until it screamed past with a new and unreal sound, rapidly becoming a far dot on the horizon!

Then again, maybe the 3.6 M5 is the Spitfire, the 3.8 M5 is the P-51 Mustang... in which case the B10 BiTurbo is the Me 262 as it's the fastest and most powerful of all !! Don flame suit!! Tally ho!!

lol ;p

(Just a pity the real thing was not used properly in WWII. Then again, if it had been, I might be speaking German right now and "the few" might have been "the none"!!)

Regards

Ivan.

No comment. Reminds me of words spoken last saturday, when a certain "57" rolled by. Yes, this is Dutch code language, need to know basis only!

I hate those pimped taxis so much I don't even remember what I said. Probably not suitable for public posting anyway!

Much prefer the Flying Spur that was also there, but would take a Phantom over both in the blink of an eye....

Not to mention , that as a culture , we don't have the inherant balls or resolve / self confidence of the Aussies as a result of our ' Build them up , to knock them down ' character !

We get a couple of lads with a bit of character in sport and the majority of the GB public take an instant dislike to them .

Naseem Hamed , Chris Eubanks , Ian Polter , Kevin Pietersen to name but a few...........
