Anyone doing BMW Car Club Tack Day on 25th?

      Hi folks.

I'm interested in the BMW car club track day at Silverstone on Monday 25th and wondered if there will be any other E34 guys there? It would be much more enjoyable if there were some other similar cars to "potter" around with .

If I have the time I will certainly be there in the trusty M5.

It is a little expensive @ £250 though, I paid £200 only a few months ago.

I thought the same considering we would be driving our own cars.......

Mention BMW Car Club and the price increases just like weddings !

Its a shame this meet / venue has become so expensive.
Ihope you fellas have a good time

I stopped doing this sort of meet mainly due to oversubscription & cost a lot of yrs ago in the UK.
A trip to the Ring costs £500 plus accomodation & a weekend away from the routines of every day life..
Rather do a couple of these than half a dozen track days here these days.

      Definetly

      As for Silverstone

I think this is the same one as Stevie Sam was talking about where Sabine will be offering laps of the track. In which case you can go there and just "hang out" for a small fee!

      Thanks for the info guys.

£250 is a typical price for a Silverstone track day, so I don't think the BMW car club are adding a big margin. At least getting to the venue is cheap for me

A ride with Sabine could be a giggle in a masochistic sort of way

Still time to ponder on the subject for a bit.

She owns a hotel and restaurant as well - what a lady!

Still think Top Gear should get rid of Stig and give Sabine a contract. The TG test track could then be the Nordschleife!
