AP Brakes

Hi All

Does anyone have AP brakes fitted to their M5 or even Touring? Am interested to know experiences and where to get a good deal online?

Cheers

Miksta

I have AP Racing 6 Pots. Very impressed with them. I was looking at my old discs at the weekend, no wonder I was not happy with them as they are really badly worn and rusty, discs anyway.

I have never experienced brake fade and have always been able to feel confident. I got mine through a local company.

Cool thanks, I really think AP's rock. I have 4 pots on my Audi which are excellent. The stock BMW brakes are quite bad really and fade quickly.

What brakes do you have now? I take it is the single pot versions?

New Brakes

Hi

B4 you go blowin a whole heap of money on those AP's Check out the new brakes from UUC Motorwerks...I got an e-mail from them showin their new brakes which are going through race testing at the moment...they do look good.. six pots on the front Blah Blah Blah and all that...colour coded to suit your vehicle if you want ! COOOOL !!!

I did get a picture or two from them but I need to download it and thumbnail it if I can work out how to do it !!!!!

The good thing was that they were talking about £1800 GBP for the full system... which if I recall is about £500 cheaper than the AP's

The bad thing is ...they are crap at delivering their products quickly
But I did come across the name of the main man to talk to if you ring them
His name is Rob Levinson and he will E-mail you the same photos

Hope this adds to your quest

steve

IF you are going to spend AP money on brakes, I'd look into Mov'it..

That name is Rob Levinson and the chances of actualy getting e-mail contact are VERY slim. And a waste of international phone-calls.

Try Movit if you want good brakes without BS.
