You must be blind. I can see the kink in that picture plain as day. Unless that's how it was supposed to look from the factory.

I think heat, sun exposure and age warp the dashes.

I guess my next question is, how expensive is a new dash from BMW (non-airbag)? Anyone replaced one before?

I think that is the shape of the top of the instrument dials.... None of my dash's look warped at all, and they all look like that.

Are you assuming that the top of the dash at the point of the 'kink' should be flat? I think it has a contoured shape in it.
