Interesting, E34 M5 at the Auction

Just returned from the auction, looking at 93 'L' Avus Blue (Great Colour!!)/Cloth interior, memory seats, auto climate, no boot spoiler or rear electric blind. 97k miles, FBMWSH (13 stamps). 9J rears, no switch for EDC.

Thought I'd steal it at around £1500 (Books at this with CAP) but know, this car had so much interest from all and sundry, it eventually went for £4950.00 plus buying fee.

I was amazed to say the least!?

Perhaps this is the turning point for our motors!

Perhaps they will start to appreciate and give back some of the many thousands we all invest in them on a yearly basis.......

Wishful thinking......?

You guys over the pond still don't know how good you have it. Both in the selection and cost of those cars. I am a bit jealous to say the least. Its that darn federalisation here that kills us, darn DOT.

Trust me .... they were

A mixture of Boycie and Artur Daley splattered together with a hint of "The sales pitch" and "Look at the car you are going to buy....it won't depreciate "

What was it .... an E39 m5 !!!

What was that I just heard......ahhhh!!! that was the arse just falling out of them when the new one came along
