Doubt you see many police cars in Cornwall Dan compared to east london!!!

His tints were quite dark, but prob not more than Geach has on his car judging by photos.

@ Simonal - i too hate that two-tone tint look, it looks ridiculous, i don't know who would do that, i'd at least make the rears a VERY similar shade if not the same shade as whatever is legal on the front sidewindows.

But then I don't want gangsta tint on my car!!!
No all I was looking for was some very light heat reducing tints no "gangsta tints" wanted here......

I think you will find that it will be the traffic police who will do the asking and either get it tested or have a light meter as part of there kit to enable testing of the amount of light getting into the car.

I suppose the local cops will call in the traffic cops should they pull you over and really want to make your life hell....

Mine are rather dark - and it is impossible to reverse park at night with the windows up - unless you rely on the reversing sensors that the PO fitted. You can't even tell if the reversing light works.

My Jensen Interceptor used to have a Sundym (sp?) windscreen - which was absolutely fabulous. I couldn't get another when it was broken. This is the same as some prescription lenses - it darkens in bright sunlight and lightens out of it. Can't understand why this is not universal, at least on luxury vehicles.

Any thoughts on this subject? Should I remove the privacy glass between the A & B pillar?
That's a beautiful car, it would be a shame to change the tinting unless you absolutely have to - the contrast with the silver is very nice. If it were me, I would leave it alone.

I certainly wouldn't have two different shades on the car, then the cops will pull you over for being a drug dealer.

Cheers, Geoff.
