Novice question

erm silly question but have i got to pull the rocker cover off to get at the sparkplugs in the 3.8?

On the 3.6 there is a seperate plastic cover as in first picture...

The black cover is the coil/spark plug cover on the 3.8.

have to bolts gotta be torqued up to anything in particular?

No don't worry. The cover is not sealed so just dont' over tighten I suppose.
