uk e34 forum?

Hi I have been a quiet member on here for ages but have still not ever owned an m5.
I am hoping to buy a 535i sport e34 asap as I have just bought my first house and sold my other cars to fund. I figured a 535 sport would satisfy my urge for BMW, speed, rwd, and come in around 1.25k for a halfish manual.

I can't find many though, 3 auto's, 1 manual that looks naff (could be pics), and 1 high miler (not a problem) which is the other end of the country.

I was hoping there would be a e34 forum uk based I could put a wanted ad up and ask what stuff to look for when buying.

Any help appreciated chaps and chapesses

Hi monkey,

Just had a look on pistonheads.com (where I found my car). There's 3 on there at the moment, one of which is around the price you mentioned, automatic though.

Here la...
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/68530.htm

There's two or three more on the site aswell.

Concerning a UK E34 forum where you could place your ad, I really have no idea. There's a For Sale and Wanted section in this one, but as far as I know it's just for M5 stuff, but I'm not so sure about that assertion either! No doubt some of the other guys will be able to clarify things better for you over the weekend. I'm new here so I'm just finding my feet, or is that wings!

Regards

Der.

Go onto bmw-board.co.uk and do a member search for "NOISUFNOC". This is John Sharpe who is involved in the 5 series register and is a big E34 fan. He may be able to point you in the right direction...

I am breking my 535i sport auto - it has done 150,000 miles, 60,000 in my care with FULL service history, and ALL receipts since 90,000.

So you could transport the engine from mine.

I think you will struggle to find a mint 535i now, few have been looked after with the dedication they require.

I would take a pretty low price, and you could have what is left on the car for spares etc - it still drives perfectly, although the exhaust is knackered, but I assure you the engine is MINT, and coming from an auto, it hasn't been ragged at all. PM me if interested.
