First pics of my new LE

Well, nearly one week into ownership, 600 miles covered (despite not using the car much, not using to commute to work etc), finally, here's a few daylight pics.

Haven't had the "acquaintance clean" - the first thorough clean and inspection of the car, where id do stuff like sort out the horrible immobiliser stickers on the windows, reposition tax disc holder, and get to know the car well (get to know all the body work blemishes, interior faults etc).

I like it, even the colour - despite not being to everyones tastes - it looks much darker in real life, often looking a darker grey than the sebring, rather than a green. Its certainly much nicer than the metallic green of the 320iT daily hack (which can be seen in the first pic in the background). It also looks more green with all the green leafy surroundings in these pics!!!

Notice all original amber indicators all round - will probably change these to clears at the front, and smoked st the side & rears. Probably the only mod I will do to the car, and I am half tempted to leave them amber, original OEM an all that as its a LE...

Pics of the dubious interior colours to follow once I've given it a good once over on the w/e.

Enjoy!

Looks really nice Al.

I am sure you will grow to love it as much as the 3.6.

Can't wait to have a look at her in the flesh....

No worries. Don't need it until I'm ready to fit my winter tyres.

Anyone else think that the wing mirror looks at a stupid angle in picture 2?

When sat in the drivers seat, it reminds me of this: or like the car has hands sticking out the sides at awkward angles.... I suppose i could change then to elephant ears - then they would match the badly photoshopped pictures BMW released for the LE's
