Jeez, I almost forgot to mention this!

So I had my car "broken" into a couple nights ago. One of the few times I've had to leave it outside. They didn't actually break anything but somehow managed to push the rear passenger window down. Odd thing is all they took was my CDs! There was no forced entry attempt at the glove box (I had stereo plus iPod in there). They left 8 dollars in change in the change tray. They left the few items of clothes that were in there as well. The trunk was even unlocked yet all my tools were still there! Weird.

I'm curious about the trunk though. If the car is locked and they do manage to get in a window and pull up the lock knob, would that unlock the trunk? Seems to defeat the purpose of not having a trunk release in the car if so.

You can deadlock and isolate the boot (trunk) and doors from each other.

When you lock the boot, turn the key all the way to the right (i think) and remove the key. this should lock everything. But when you open the doors the boot should stay locked.

Same with the doors, lock them as normal and continue turning another 30' or so and it should 'click' a second time.
