Idle Jumps with AC on.

Greetings,

I have a US 91 3.6 E-34 M5 where the idle jumps intermittently to about 2000 when the AC is on. I just replaced all the vacuum and air hoses along with idle valve and oxygen sensor. Anyone else experience this? Upon start up, the idle also has a tendency to jump. With both instances, tapping on the throttle quickly resolves the idle jump and the car returns to the 800-900 RPM rpm range. Any experience anyone has with this is appreciated.

Thanks,

Ted

Mine jumps slightly - from 800 or so to 1000 with the A/C on but not as much as you describe.
