Troubleshooting gearbox problem?

Hi.. Drove today, and the gearbox suddenly stucked in 2gear. Canīt get it out of 2 gear.. The gear stick feels like the car not are in gear ?

Looked under the car after if the gear stick was loose, but itīs not loose and is connected to the gearbox

Then i need to replace the gearbox right ? Itīs an 3.8 gearbox, but i know someone who has a 3.6gearbox. I know there not should be any difference. Can i "just" set the 3.6 gearbox on ?? Or is there a difference with the clutch or something else ?

I'd be tempted to see exactly why the box stuck in second- is it out of oil or something? They normally show signs of wear going in to gear in the first place as a sign of needing replacement. Regardless-- it is a straight swap to put a 3.6 box in a 3.8, this is what I have had done.

Hi!
Propably not just an oil-problem....
Take the box down and see what the problem is...

And yes, there is no problems fitting the 3.6 box. NO problems with the clutch.
