Alarm Argh!

Went out to the car this morning on a nice crisp sunny day with a smile on my face as usual walking up to the car. When pressing the remote the indicator didn't flash even though the LED on the seperate remote fob did. So I unlocked the door without any problems but when I opened the door the alarm went off. So I jumped in quickly and tried the ingnition, the starter turned over strongly but there was no spark (similar to me in the mornings).

BMW is sending out a technician to look at it so I'm sure they sort it out. I'd just though I'd share another day in the life.

On a more positive note my noisey top speed regulator identified by Dr Sakke is going to be replaced under the warranty which is just aswell because it costs the best part of £300 GBP and as for the labour to get down there who knows? I'm hoping that the air plenum might have to come off so when they're down there they might aswell change the vaccum hoes aswell - fingers crossed.

The warranty and my local dealer has been brillant as well as the emergencey call out people but it all finishes at the end of the year so I'll be off to the Middle East or sell a kidney or two to pay for the never ending saga.

Even though I'm still loving it I've just had a very enjoyable blast coming back from a BMWCC meeting which made all the problems fade into the background .
