Oil line to oil cooler broke! what a mess!

Oil line to oil cooler broke! what a mess it made, but I have it just about cleaned up thanks to high pressure washer.

I guess I caught it pretty quick after it started, but man oil got all over my beautiful clean engine.

Not to mention the damn cork oil pan gasket started seeping through in one spot, guess I have to look for a paper type pan gasket.

I guess this is the later part of the rebuild...........going to order the oil lines tomorrow!

Yeah, I tried sourcing the "paper" gasket and my dealer looked at me like if I was from mars, saying there was only one type, any help finding the good one would be appreciated.

I used the BMW part number to order......11131315154

Did you call BMA and ask Patrick? Don't forget to look at 535i parts list for the pan gasket too. Good Luck with the search.
