changing brake pads/rotors

Hey guys, I notice the M5 FAQ page seems to be having issues again and I'm about to change my rotors and pads. I was hoping to find a walk through. I haven't done this before but I'm mechanically inclined so I'm confident I can do this given the proper knowledge.

Can anyone point me to a walkthough or help me out? I love learning how to DIY with this car!

Nix

it's pretty straightforward once you get the wheels off.

Basically:

Remove Wheel (17mjm socket)
Remove Caliper pins (7mm Hex)
Remove Caliper and support it (I just rested it on the lower control arms)
Remove Pads (and wear sensors where applicable) (Front Left and Rear Right on my car)
Remove Caliper Carrier (19mm Socket Front and 15mm Rear) Fronts required a breaker bar to remove about 100lbs/ft of torque.
Remove Rotor set screw (5mm hex)
Remove Rotor

Installation is reverse of removal.
