Me going to the Ring

Right unless some money is made asap with me selling everything in sight then the M5 won't be able to make it.

Now I have had some kind offers, which is why I am posting this thread to keep the chap etc out of the other threads about my car.

I was just wondering if the people who wouldn't mind me tagging along in their car could post where abouts you are. As a offer is one thing but getting to some of you could be another thing entirely.

Many Thanks

And I am in Central London so possibly less use.

I will definetly have a seat and spare space on the ticket as my mate is definetly not coming along as his wife is buying an A2.....yuk.

So could give you a lift there but I am coming back later so if you want to come back on Sunday or Monday then you will have to get a ride with one of the others to get home.

Hope this helps.

Hate it when that happens... Won't have to worry about her not getting the bonnet up, for only God can! Also make sure the light bulbs don't break because it'll take S38 rebuild time to replace those.

@ BURTON I am returning late, you could get a ride back to The Hook...Not too far from your place on the other side, right?

Yes I know about the bonnet thing I have an inherent distrust of cars that I cannot see the engine. I think it is because I like proof

As for Burton just had a thought.

The train that goes to Amsterdam must pass pretty near you another option would be to get the train to Harwich and then get the same ferry as Illjah and then get a lift with Wout.

Then on the way back get a lift with WOout back to Hook and get the train close to home.

Only a thought mind.

I am thinking this. I have a friend that could drop me off and I could get on the boat there and then see about Wout the otherside. Are you meeting Illjah at the Hook.

The train goes from London Liverpool street to Harwich and then the passengers de-train and get the same boat from Harwich to Hook. The train the Dutch Flyer goes through the following stations; London Liverpool Street, Shenfield, Chelmsford, Colchester, Cambridge, Norwich, Ipswich, Harwich International. Is one of those stations near you Burton and could you get a direct train to Harwich International and meet Illjah and Wout?

The package then takes passengers on to Amsterdam via the Hague and Rotterdam.

As I said I the train must pass through some areas in the UK and I was thinking if this would mean that it goes anywhere near Burton or can be caught by Burton. I have no real idea about the train route as I have not used it but I do know that it does work as friends of mine have used this route before.

But I think a lift to the port would be a much better alternative just was not sure if that was possible.

I will try and find the web site when I get to work and post full details so Burton has another option.

(Only know about it as two friends used it to get to Amsterdam for a stag do)
