Hey guys I have to projects to due. 1 is the rear left window motor needs replacing and the other is the front passenger door lock needs diagnosing/fixing. Which of the two would be easier and best to attack first seeing as I haven't accessed my door panels ever?

I would find the door to be very irritating so that would be done already.

Me too,dont use the back windows alot,but the door i do!

Hi there

E34 rear electric windows often cease to operate due to lack of use, before removing door and investigating, I have found if you give the rear door trim a good thump whilst holding the button of the electric window they return to life.

Any central locking or door lock fault will require removing the door trim panel to investigate.

I think may have poorly explained the question. I'm going to have to remove BOTH my rear left door panel AND my front passenger panel to fix 2 problems. Which panel would be the easiest or best to try first?

Thanks guys. Both jobs were a success. Well the lock was easy and I figured out that there was just a connection loose with the window motor. However I already removed the motor and can't quite seem to get in back into place under the gear teeth.

Anyone??
