Which fuel? (canada)

hey guys, just wondering what fuel to use in my 3.6? The manual which isn't in front of me says 95ron.... I think. I know there's some different fuel numbers depending on country and such. Just wondering which is the proper fuel for canada. 91 92 94?

Thanks,

nix

Ultra 94

I've been using Sunoco Ultra 94 and wondering if I am just spending unncessary coin.

I would be interested in knowing whether I would be better switching to Super 91 myself.

I suspect Super 91 will make your car fart.

in BC, I ONLY use Chevron 94. I've experimented with petrocanada's 94 as well, and it's just not as smooth. BMW endorses chevron as well, so hopefully that means they dont totally suck. Also, try some of that, and some octane booster. Fill her up, give her some octane booster and go blow the doors off of all the bc ricers

While blowing the doors of ricers is fun I'd imagine that using 94 plus an octane booster is giving your enging a much higher octane than it was designed for, no?

I am still trying to figure out if 94 is overkill when the engine was designed for 91 but am really no further ahead.

I was under the impression it was designed for 93+. I believe the owners manual says something, i'm too lazy to go out to my car and check right now =/. Either way, I like this stuff, but I dont like idling in town. It hurts my wallet. Really badly. Long live the beast!
