Ok. Car is scheduled for appointment with BMW FTL next week for an EDC dagnostoc check. Though I have some further questions;
I am trying to determine if my EDC computer is faulty or it is the dampers, since only the left rear is leaking. I do occasionally get a "EDC NOT ACTIVE" on my OBC. Though my fornt end does bounce up and down at high speeds like a flying carpet.
1. If the front dampers are gone than why doesn't the EDC light stay on continuosly?
2. If just the EDC is fautly and not the dampers than why doesn't the factory default setting "sport mode" take effect?
3. If only one damper is bad and you KNOW that the EDC is working properly will the entire EDC III system be effected?
4. Can it be that I am describing problems with both my front dampers and a faulty EDC$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I have been scowering this forum and read a lot on the EDC III dilemas but not all of the above questions are clear to me.
Thank you fellow enthusiasts for your help.
