hello everybody!

i've installed an s38b36 in my E28 518i
i couldn't install the final silencer due to small room so i went to an exhaust market and they installed a custom one
the problem is that they connected the 2 pipes in one 70mm pipe...
is this serious? could this affect the engine output?

Depending on the muffler used it may be a bit more restrictive but shouldnt be a big deal.

I would really try and fit that extra silencer. I have had a lot of trouble getting the BMW's to be quit without both silencers... Or if you would like to spend some money BILLYBOAT exhaust has a nice muffler. Better yet I have a dual in single oval out for ya. It was mounted on a 735i 1985. I am sure it would work for you, but I traded it to my neighbor... I will see if he still has it. I will let you know, or write me if I forget.
