BMW CD changer help!!!
OK my stereo is all bone stock, I know that may be a shocker but it is.
Here's the problem, I was pushing the number to change cd's and I got the error message in th tuner. I've never had any problems with the stock unit before. I went to the trunk to check out the changer and it won't release the cartridge either. So I'm stuck with the error message and the cartridge won't release. Radio mode works fine.
Any creative suggestions???
TIA

Have you checked to see whether a cd has come loose in the changer, and jammed one of the trays out? That happened to a changer of mine before, had to remove the changer and 'shake' the cd and drawer into the cartridge area, before reconnecting power and ejecting cartridge.
check the tray for damage, as that may cause it to happen again, if that is indeed the problem.

Re: BMW CD changer help!!!
I think I'll treat it gently first. If that doesn't work I'll get the BFH out.
